About Us:

LJW Publishing is a small press based out of Mesa, Arizona. The purpose of LJW Publishing is to bring books to life that will make readers think; pragmatically, that is. As The Pragmatic Press, we believe that thinking has become a rare art form and we've taken it upon ourselves to inspire the masses (beginning with the masses of Arizona in particular since we feel partially responsible as fellow residents) to adopt the art form previously known as thinking and incorporate it into their daily lives. We don't expect miracles. And in all honesty, we'll be lucky if we can incorporate the qualities of pragmatic thinking into our own lives and the lives of our staff. But our point isn't to convert the world (or even the state). Our point is to provide the opportunity.
