About the Company:

LJW Publishing is a small press based out of Mesa, Arizona. The purpose of LJW Publishing is to bring books to life that will make readers think; pragmatically, that is. As The Pragmatic Press, we believe that thinking has become a rare art form and we've taken it upon ourselves to inspire the masses (or at least the masses of Arizona) to adopt the art form previously known as thinking and incorporate it into their daily lives. We don't expect miracles. And in all honesty, we'll be lucky if we can incorporate the qualities of pragmatic thinking into our own lives and the lives of our staff. But our point isn't to convert the world (or even the state). Our point is to provide the opportunity.

And that we can do.

LJW Publishing Mission Statement:

There are three ways in which LJW Publishing is attempting to inundate the world with the opportunity to think pragmatically:

1. Publish at least 3 thought provoking titles per year authored by Arizona natives.

2. Post several original works online each month that exhibit qualities of pragmatic thinking. (Coming Soon!)

  3. Maintain a general LJW Publishing blog and LJW Publishing Author blogs that will act as forums to foster thought (hopefully of the Pragmatic kind, but any thought will do at times!)
